In a groundbreaking agreement in 2003, The Hartford became a founding partner of U.S. Paralympics, a division of the U.S. Olympic Committee dedicated to becoming the world leader in the Paralympic movement and to promoting excellence in the lives of people with a physical disability. The Hartford was the first and only insurance carrier to pledge support to U.S. Paralympics and its 300 elite athletes.
