Jessica Galli

In 1991, Jessica Galli was paralyzed from the waist down due to an injury she sustained in a car accident. Shortly after her accident, Galli was introduced to disabled sports. In 1998, she attended her first international event, the IPC World Championships in Birmingham, England, and has been competing internationally ever since.
Galli graduated from the University of Illinois in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and in 2010 with a master’s degree in Community Health with a concentration in Health Policy and Administration.
