Nick Taylor headed into the 2008 Paralympic Games in Beijing looking to repeat his success from 2004, when he teamed with David Wagner to earn gold in the quad doubles competition in Athens. Taylor and Wagner repeated as quad doubles champs, and Taylor added a bronze medal to his collection by winning the quad singles - open.

Taylor has been the world's No. 1 quad player in both singles and doubles and has shared plenty of team success, both with Wagner in doubles and as part of the four-time defending Invacare World Team Cup champions.

He earned his master's degree in Sport Administration from Wichita State University (WSU) in July 2007 and he earned two bachelor's degrees from WSU, one in Management Information Systems and the other in Sport Administration.

Taylor currently is the director of a women's professional tennis tournament that is a part of the USTA Pro Circuit and is the team manager for the WSU men's and women's tennis teams. He is also deeply involved in his local wheelchair sports group, helping coordinate fundraisers and events.
