The Hartford Abilities Programs
Our initiatives in corporate philanthropy extend beyond financial support. We're committed to helping our customers understand and adapt to new, often challenging emotional situations. Our Abilities Programs focus their energies around positive, "can-do" attitudes. Through our products, corporate giving and sponsorships, The Hartford helps people of all abilities achieve the highest quality of life.
To help people make wise financial decisions, The Hartford's team of financial professionals has released a broad range of programs, studies and surveys on topics such as financial basics for college students, estate planning, financial planning for children with special needs, and the impact of obesity on retirement preparedness.
We call them our Hartford Heroes in Community Service. Every day our employees give their time, talent and know-how to make our communities better places to live.
In November 2010, The Hartford announced a $7 million, five-year investment in Asylum Hill, which has been home to the company’s headquarters for more than 90 years.
