Do I Qualify?

To be considered, students need to . . .

• have an interest in attending Uconn, Howard University or Trinity College;
  
  
• demonstrate academic excellence (typically Alliance students graduate in the top 10% of their high school class);
  
  
• demonstrate a financial need (as determined by FAFSA submission to each college student is applying to);
  
  
• graduate from one of the four Hartford public high schools: Weaver, Bulkeley, Hartford Public and The Sport and Medical Sciences Academy;
  
  
• be a resident of the City of Hartford.
  
  
• meet and maintain all of the admission, academic, and financial need requirements of whichever college you choose - Howard, Trinity or or UConn; and
  
  
• agree to work at The Hartford during the summer after high school graduation. (Exceptions are granted if a student is asked to participate in an academic preparation program at one of our three partner colleges.)
