Disabling Cookies

Internet Explorer (Version 3.0):
In Internet Explorer 3.0, select the "View" drop-down menu at the top of your browser window, and choose "Options" from the bottom of the menu. In the upper right corner of the "Options" window, select the option for "Advanced". Within the "Warning" area at the top of the window, you may choose for your browser to show you a warning before accepting cookies.

Internet Explorer (Version 4.0):
In Internet Explorer 4.0, select the "View" drop-down menu at the top of your browser window, and choose "Internet Options" from the bottom of the menu. In the upper right corner of the "Internet Options" window, select the option for "Advanced". Scroll down to and double click on the listing for "Security", if it is not already open. Then open the listing for "Cookies". You may choose to "Always accept cookies", "Prompt before accepting cookies", or "Disable all cookie use". After you have made your selection, be sure to click on the "Apply" button at the bottom of the "Internet Options" window, before exiting.

Netscape Navigator (Version 3.0):
In Netscape Navigator 3.0, select the "Options" drop-down menu at the top of your browser window, and choose "Network Preferences" from the menu. Within the "Preferences" window, select the option for "Protocols". Here you may choose for your browser to "show an alert" to you before accepting cookies. When you select this option, you will be asked whether or not you would like to receive a cookie, each time one is sent to your computer.

Netscape Navigator (Version 4.0):
In Netscape Navigator 4.0, select the "Edit" drop-down menu at the top of your browser window, and choose the "Preferences" menu selection. From the menu on the left side of the "Preferences" window, click on the option for "Advanced". At the bottom of the right side of the window, you may then choose how you would like your browser to handle cookies.
