It’s Time to Make it Personal Through Personal Lines Forums

 

You’re seated comfortably. The lights are dim. You hear a clock ticking, and then a loud, ringing alarm. This may sound like you’ve been abruptly woken from a comfortable state. But this alarm has just announced the start of your local Personal Lines Forum.  

For the past several years Personal Lines has been conducting business meetings for our agency partners. These meetings have provided agents, CSRs and producers an opportunity to learn about new products, services and technology enhancements from The Hartford. The 2007 Forums are no different. 

This year’s PL Forum theme is “It’s Time to Make it Personal.” This theme was chosen because we believe in the relationship between The Hartford and independent agents. These meetings are an opportunity to revisit some key topics agents have told us are important to them. At the Personal Lines Forums you’ll learn about:

  • New enhancements to our products and services, like the Policy Change Center
  • Insights on consumer buying habits and tips to help you sell our products
  • Learn about exciting new tools and marketing capabilities

Upon attending you’ll receive a certificate to take a free on-line course for CE Credits. There will also be an opportunity for open dialogue during our Q&A session. 

The Policy Change Center Makes it Easier to do Business

The primary focus of 2007 Personal Lines Forum is a discussion around the latest technology enhancement, The Policy Change Center. This enhancement, found on the EBC, allows you to process auto endorsements in real-time. This has been available since the beginning of July and we’ve received great feedback from agents who find the tool easy to use.

Populating the credits based on the VIN saves me from having to go to other systems to ensure that I’m giving the customers proper credits. What I love is, not having to stop what I’m doing to get a quote on the 2 or 3 different vehicles the customer is thinking about buying.”
