You Asked for It, and The Hartford is Delivering Policy Change Center - Coming Soon!
 

The Hartford is committed to making it easier for you to do business with us. This summer, we’re excited to announce the Policy Change Center – an enhancement to the Electronic Business Center (EBC) that will allow agents and CSRs to manage their Personal Lines customers’ auto policy changes in real time. This new tool has been built for agents, by agents. We solicited feedback from our agent partners at various stages of development and honed in on your specific needs for a technology solution for faster and easier policy service. The end result is a clean, easy-to-follow tool helping you to service your customers more efficiently and focus more time on selling The Hartford.

This means that you will be able to service most customers’ auto policy change requests quickly in minutes from start to finish. It’s fast, easy and accurate!

What Can I do on the Policy Change Center?

-          Quote “what if” scenarios with an option to save them for later – you can advise your customers on their rate changes based on different car makes and models

-          Receive an immediate confirmation of change, even if it requires underwriter approval

-          View a Billing Breakdown as it relates to the change that was processed - you’ll be able to tell your customers how the change will impact their rates and their revised billing schedule

-          Print new ID cards for current or newly added vehicles

-          Print required forms as they apply to the current policy or recent change

Same as today, agents and CSRs will be able to make homeowners endorsements on the Policy Change Center and they will notice newly enhanced screens, though the real time quoting and fulfillment will be for Auto only.

Saving Time with the Policy Change Center

The Policy Change Center has been designed to help you save time. You’ll be able to service your customers faster, leading to higher satisfaction and retention. Policy information can be accessed simply by typing in the insured’s policy number or name and address.  Once the transaction is complete, you’ll receive an on-line confirmation in real time.

Learn how to maximize the benefits of the Policy Change Center in 30 minutes by participating in one of our helpful webinars. Start by selecting the time zone in which you do business Eastern, Central, Mountain or Pacific – then choose the month that suits you best. On the calendar displayed, choose the day and time of your webinar.

 

Getting Started

The Policy Change Center is scheduled to launch in July.  Look forward to an invitation to training through your STAAR, and additional information from your Sales Reps, area Personal Lines Forums and from The Hartford upon its launch. In order to access the Center, you’ll simply need to sign into the EBC. On the EBC home page select PL Policy Changes from under the Service Customers menu. Or, you can access it from the “Let’s Do Business” tab within the EBC. If you are not a registered user on the EBC, you can contact Agency Interface Services at 877-322-4833.
