Internet Explorer 8 Now Certified for Hartford Systems The Hartford is pleased to report that Microsoft® Windows® Internet Explorer (IE) 8 has been certified for various technology and applications of The Hartford. IE 8 was recently released to the public. Users that have the “Automatic Updates” option turned on should receive a prompt about the new version and can choose whether to install IE 8 at that time, receive a reminder to update later or decline. Additionally, IE 8 is available for download from Microsoft’s Web site at www.microsoft.com/ie8. If you have downloaded the new IE 8 version, you should not experience any issues when accessing any of The Hartford’s systems — such as the EBC®, ICON, QTI, Quote MarineSM, and ExpressWay® applications. Important reminder, Internet Explorer, versions 6.0 and higher, continues to be the only browser supported by The Hartford. Your business is important to us.
