Statement of Eligibility for Insurance

Personal lines agents must verify an insured’s residency or eligibility for North Carolina private passenger vehicles written on non-fleet insurance policies (per North Carolina General Statutes, Chapter 58-2-164). This would also apply to insureds located outside North Carolina who own motor vehicles registered and principally garaged in this state. Cancellations Suspension Lifted

On December 3, The Hartford suspended cancellations for Personal and Commercial Lines policyholders in compliance with the order in the following Oregon counties: Clatsop, Columbia, Lincoln, Tillamook and Yamhill. Effective January 3, 2008, the temporary cancellation suspension was released. All Direct Notice of Cancellations and second notices have been resumed.
