What to Bring

You’ve made an important decision in coming to The Hartford, so we want to make sure you are prepared for your first day. Please bring the following items with you:


Acceptable Identification Documents
By law we must verify your employment eligibility on your first day of work. Remember to bring the appropriate identification documents, such as your driver's license and social security card or  your passport. Original unexpired documents are required.

Here is a list of acceptable documents you can choose from to complete your electronic Form I-9. This process must be completed within three days of your date of hire. If you have any questions, please view the E-Verify page for more information. 


Direct Deposit Information
Bring your bank's routing number and your account number if you would like to setup direct deposit. We do NOT need a voided check. Non-exempt employees are paid bi-weekly and Exempt employees are paid semi-monthly.


Car Icon Vehicle Information
Security badges and parking tags will likely be processed on your first day. In order for a parking tag to be issued to you, please come prepared to provide your vehicle and license plate information. (2 vehicle maximum).
