Security Badges
Security badges and parking tags will likely be processed on your first day. In order for a parking tag to be issued to you, please come prepared to provide your vehicle and license plate information. (2 vehicle maximum).

Responsibility of Security Badge Holders
Employees, vendors or visitors issued badges are required to carry and display security badges while on property of The Hartford.

Badge Holders are:

  • Required to produce for inspection their security badge when requested.
  • Required to protect security badges from loss or misuse and immediately report the loss of such badge to Corporate Security. 
  • Prohibited from intentionally damaging, tampering with or attempting to duplicate a security badge. 
  • Prohibited from lending or allowing others to use their security access badge. 
  • Not to allow others to tailgate or enter controlled doors without their own credentials. 
  • Not allowed to prop or hold open security doors or in any other way attempt to tamper or defeat any security systems. 
  • Prohibited from attempting to gain access to restricted areas where they have not been given access. 
  • Asked to return their badges to Corporate Security at the conclusion of employment or assignment to The Hartford facilities. 
  • Required to complete the laptop removal form and submit it to security prior to removing their personal laptop(s) from The Hartford facilities.
