Founding Partner of the U.S. Paralympics

In 1994, The Hartford became the first insurance company to begin a long-standing commitment of supporting and sponsoring athletes with physical disabilities. Since then, imagewe have gained a renowned industry reputation as the "ability company," focusing on the abilities of people with disabilities. In 2003, we proudly became the Founding Partner of the U.S. Paralympics -- the first and only disability insurance carrier to pledge support to the U.S. Paralympics and its 800 elite athletes. Find out more on The Hartford's alliance with the U.S. Paralympic Team.

U.S. Paralympic athletes embody our Ability Philosophy -- our conviction that success is possible by focusing on abilities instead of physical limitations. As active, productive members of society and the U.S. workforce, they are powerful, positive role models for our disability claimants. Learn more from those who inspire us.
