Corporate Sponsorship
A Passion for Competition
There's more to The Hartford than insurance and investment expertise. We're big supporters of some of the world's most exciting and inspiring sporting events.
NASCAR
We've teamed up with as a primary sponsor for three 2009 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races. Helmed by driver Clint Bowyer, the No. 33 Chevrolet Impala will feature The Hartford's new paint scheme as a primary sponsor at:
- The Dover International Speedway on May 31st
- New Hampshire Motor Speedway on June 28
- Pocono Raceway on August 2
We'll also be featured on the No. 33 Chevy as an associate sponsor of RCR for the remainder of the 2009 season. The Hartford will also be an associate sponsor of RCR and driver Jeff Burton's No. 31 Caterpillar Chevy in the Sprint Cup Series.
Both Bowyer and Burton will be spokesmen for the program with a primary focus of automobile and home insurance. Get more information on The Hartford's involvement with RCR.

Supporting Those Who Give Their All
In 2003, we proudly became the founding partner of the U.S. Paralympics. The partnership established The Hartford as a true "ability" company and the first-and only-disability insurance carrier to pledge support to U.S. Paralympics and its 800 athletes.
The Hartford's Ability Philosophy
We believe in focusing on abilities instead of perceived limitations. As active, productive members of society, Paralympic athletes are positive role models for our disability claimants. That's why we're the official sponsor of the alpine skiing, swimming, wheelchair road racing and cycling teams and sponsor several sporting competitions and community events throughout the U.S., including The Hartford's Ski Spectacular, the nation's largest winter sports festival for individuals with physical disabilities.
