Case Management

As you know, the sooner you intervene on a lost-time workers' compensation claim, the easier it is to get an employee the appropriate care and back to work as soon as medically appropriate, and to save money. When you're in touch with an injured worker, they're more motivated to resume work.

The Hartford's system makes follow-up easier. It is set up to automatically flag certain workers' compensation claims when lost time exceeds 10 days, when no treatment end date is specified or, where workplace injuries are of a certain type or magnitude. These are automatically assigned to nurse care managers for medical and return-to-work oversight.
