The Southeast and Gulf Coast of the US recentlyexperienced an almost unprecedented series of ferocious hurricanes – Katrina, Ophelia and Rita. Katrina’s damage, and that caused by the subsequent levee failures in and around New Orleans is severe, and correction will takemonths, if not years.

It is human nature for business owners and homeowners to want to return as soon as possible to restore a degree of normalcy to life. However, entering damaged structures can be dangerous.
