It's a compensation philosophy that helps us attract top-performing employees in all areas of the organization. |
Health Benefits
Our health benefits are intended to provide the important coverage you need, when you need it. They are also designed to help you maintain, improve and manage your health. |
Medical
We offer two medical plans, including a preferred provider organization plan with two different deductible options and a high deductible health plan. The Hartford provides tools and education to help our employees become educated health care consumers.
Dental
Our dental program offers two deductible options. Both options cover preventative services such as cleaning and checkups, and minor restorative services such as fillings. In addition, both cover major restorative services and orthodontia, which are subject to certain limits. The options differ in the annual deductible amounts, the plan payment amounts for basic services, and the premium amounts you pay for coverage.
Lifestyle Management Program
This innovative and confidential program - which is available at no cost for employees who enroll in our medical plan - helps you understand your current health risk profile and reduce your medical plan premiums. Online programs are available to help you maintain your good health and/or decrease your risk of developing a serious chronic condition.
Disease Management Program
Confidential health coaching from a registered nurse is available at no additional cost to employees to help them manage chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, cardiovascular disease and congestive heart failure.
Employee Assistance (EAP) & Work-Life Programs
This program offers tools and services to help you manage life's daily challenges. You can receive confidential advice from experts, such as financial consultants, family mediators and dependent care professionals, and even speak by phone with an attorney about personal legal concerns.

The program is funded by The Hartford, and you are vested in your cash balance account after you have completed three years of service.

Wealth Benefits
Protecting your financial security is about making sure you are protecting your current lifestyle. Having the right amount of life insurance and disability coverage protects your income should you become unable to work.
Group Life Insurance
Our group life insurance program provides several options for protecting your family. The Hartford provides $25,000 of basic life insurance at no cost to employees. Employees have the option to purchase additional life insurance coverage for themselves and for their spouses, domestic partners, and children.
Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Coverage
We provide other benefits to help you protect your income in the event that you are unable to work due to a disability. Eligible employees are provided with short-term disability insurance and a basic level of long-term disability coverage, and have the option to purchase additional coverage. This coverage is one of the most important ways to protect your family and your financial assets.
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
We offer two types of FSAs. A health care FSA allows you to set aside a portion of your earnings, on a pre-tax basis, to pay for qualified medical expenses. A dependent day care FSA allows you to do the same for qualified dependent day care expenses.
Health Savings Accounts
A Health Savings Account is a tax-advantaged account used in conjunction with a high deductible health plan, which you can use to pay for current and future qualified medical expenses for yourself, your spouse and your dependents. This unique type of account allows you to make pre-tax contributions, take distributions (for qualified medical expenses) and potentially grow your account through investment earnings on a tax-free basis.
