Giving back
We believe it's our duty as a corporation to give back. Each year, The Hartford gives more than $6 million to programs in the communities we serve. We also give every employee eight hours of paid time off to volunteer. For example, many of our employees volunteer in public schools as "Reading Buddies" or "Math Buddies." In addition to education, we are committed to our Junior Fire Marshal program which provides children accross the country with materials for learning about fire prevention and safety. Learn More
