The Hartford strives to comply with any and all applicable laws that address human trafficking, child labor and forced labor in the workplace. As a federal contractor, The Hartford faces penalties up to and including suspension or debarment for failing to enforce this policy.
Scope
This policy applies to the following:
- All employees, customers, producers, contractors, clients, vendors and visitors of The Hartford and its participating subsidiaries who are based at U.S. locations of The Hartford. Non-U.S. units shall also apply the intent and provisions of this policy, unless local law requires otherwise.
- All domestic and international Hartford locations, including all work-related settings outside the workplace, such as business trips, meetings, and business-related social events.
