Key Coverage Benefits

  • Data Privacy & Network Security liability covers third-party claims arising from a failure of network security or failure to protect data. This coverage also responds to regulatory actions in connection with a wrongful act. It also pays for PCI related losses.
  • Digital Media liability covers third-party claims arising from digital media wrongful acts. Coverage pays for damages and defense expenses.
  • Crisis Management & Investigation liability covers first-party expenses related to a data privacy wrongful act. Coverage pays for first-party legal services, computer forensics, and public relations or crisis management services.
  • Notification & ID Protection covers first-party expenses related to a data privacy wrongful act. Coverage pays for mandatory and voluntary notification, call center services, and ID protection services. It also provides written recommendations to remediate security vulnerabilities.
  • Cyber Extortion coverage provides extortion payments resulting from a cyber-extortion threat.
  • Data Recovery covers costs incurred to restore data to a state prior to network intrusion.
  • Business Interruption coverage pays for income loss and extra expenses caused by a network outage from network intrusion.
  • Dependent Business Interruption coverage pays for income loss and extra expenses caused by a network outage of a third-party service provider from network intrusion.
